Job Description

Our productions NuSpace and Proof , as well as our Laboratory Series will hold joint auditions on December 18th and 20th at Kreiva Academy from 6p-9p. Those wishing to audition should prepare two one-minute contrasting monologues that best show off their acting ability, and be prepared to read from the script. Those wishing to be considered for Guerilla Shakespeare should also prepare a one-minute Shakespearian monologue.

Rehearsals will be held Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and Sunday afternoon/evenings.

The main stage season will open with the world premier of NuSpace by Marjorie Boyer. This political drama examines a world where a company has developed the technology to re-write and control every aspect of Internet media. NuSpace will run March 1st-3rd at the new Krevia Academy in Manchester.

The spring production will be David Auburn’s Tony and Pulitzer Prize winning play Proof. On the eve of her twenty-fifth birthday, Catherine, a young woman who has spent years caring for her brilliant but unstable father, Robert, must deal not only with his death, but with the arrival of her estranged sister, Claire, and with the attentions of Hal, a former student of her father’s who hopes to find valuable work in the 103 notebooks that Robert left behind. Proof will play Kreiva Academy May 3rd-5th.

Please note the role of Catherine has already been cast.

All other main stage roles are open.

Cue Zero Theatre Company will also be producing a number of side projects as part of their “Cue Zero Laboratory Series”. Projects include workshops, live performances, and classes at Jupiter Hall in Manchester, a New Works Blog, a podcast, on-line staged readings, and the new Guerilla Shakespeare Series.
