Production states: "This play follows the adolescence of Oklahoma's Jud Fry and Laurey Williams before Oklahoma, through the lens of autism. How did Jud become 'Poor Jud?' Why is it that Laurey is afraid to be alone with him? 'Best and Only' has received recognition for Excellence in Art by the Society of Fellows at the annual 2021 meeting, and has received Honorable Mention for the Gerard Cannon Award in Playwriting (2021, NYC English Department Writing Awards)."
