Job Description
Casting "Breaking News," an episodic miniseries about a news show that launches in the midst of the global pandemic of 2020-2021 in the United States by a new cable news network. Genre: Comedy (Satire). The series is a mix of episodic storytelling, bottled topics/seasonal/ series extending storylines. Important: the show is meant to make people who initially see it actually think they are watching a real pandemic-inspired environment cable newscast- do not want it to come across as a scripted episodic series in presentation.
Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations
Rehearsals and preproduction currently taking place; shoot dates between mid March- early April; post production in April shoots virtually, both cast and crew are remote.

Additional: Seeking highly motivated, reliable, and creative novices/professionals to join our team as we gear up to shoot the first season of "Breaking News." No extensive experience required, but must be reliable, passionate, hardworking, wanting to learn and grow, able to receive feedback, work amicably with others, and have a positive attitude. Experience: Beginners or experienced- all are welcomed to apply; Novices will receive training as needed; Environment is intentionally meant to be a learning experience; Great opportunity to get feet wet in a different set of skills set/role, and learn more about virtual production techniques.
