Job Description
“Lapses..” tells the story of a young Iranian Canadian woman living in a Persian household in North Toronto while attending art school downtown- a love story and a tale of family, friendships, life, and the darkness of adulthood.
TORONTO. Non-union, local travel and food covered, speaking roles paid. Shooting in GTA August 2022.
Casting- seeking Farsi speaking Persian actors (in particular Iranian background) for various roles including background actor parts as well as slightly larger spoken word parts. All ages welcome to apply from early 20s to 65+. 1-3 days availability depending on role.
ROLE: Mom
We are also casting for the role of the mother, a middle aged Farsi-speaking woman who will be the leading character’s (20 year old) mother.
Larger + spoken roles paid, basic travel expenses and food covered for extras roles, and wonderful collective experience (and credits) to be part of interesting Canadian Engish/Farsi language art film production.
Zoom introductions and auditions will be arranged with shortlisted candidates.
