Job Description

This is for an independent television pilot called Our World. It is about a rock band and documenting their adventures in trying to get a record deal. It is a quirky comedy. A crowdfunding campaign is being ran to raise the money for filming the pilot. After that, the pilot will be shopped around. A plan is already set forth for a 3-4 season series and a movie spin-off. Because this is the pilot, you will just be working for credit and meals. That is subject to change as the first season progresses. Here are the characters to be cast…

Chloe. Female. 24-30 age range. Caucasian. Bass player of the band. Tough tomboy with a heart of gold. Joan Jett, Avril Lavigne, Darlene Conner (Roseanne), Peppermint Patty (Peanuts), Janis Ian (Mean Girls).

Frankie. Male. 24-30 age range. Caucasian. Keyboardist of the band. Edgy and flamboyant. Very fashionable and well put-together. Most ideal description – David Rose (Schitt’s Creek), but if he were ready for a fight.

Judah. Male. 24-30 age range. Afro-Latino. Drummer of the band. Sarcastic, dry, and the personification of IDGAF. A serious artist. Using The Office – a combination of Stanley’s dryness and Dwight’s lack of filter.

Cornelius. Male. 24-30 age range. Caucasian. Guitarist of the band. Goofy, cornball, white-bread. Combination of Andy (The Office) and Ned Flanders (The Simpsons).
