Job Description
eight o’clock theatre is holding auditions for the epic musical, disney’s the hunchback of notre dame
please prepare 16 bars of a musical theatre song (in your key) that showcases your range and personality.
bring sheet music; an accompanist will be provided.
no a capella or recorded music.
there may be readings from the script.
rehearsals begin: september 2
rehearsals are monday-thursday evenings and sunday afternoons.
please bring a list of conflicts to the audition along with a current headshot and resume (if you have one).
show dates: november 2-11, 2018
casting directors are seeking actors/actresses to fill the following roles
character descriptions:
quasimodo (ages 20-30): the big-hearted, but deformed bell-ringer of notre dame and claude frollo’s charge. lonely and staunchly obedient to frollo, he possesses a vivid imagination that brings to life the bells and gargoyles of the cathedral. despite his shyness and uncertainty, he quickly befriends esmeralda. big-hearted, and brave when need be.
