Casting "Three Men in a Barrel," an absurdist comedy piece about three people who wake in barrels, not knowing how they got there or why they are there. After investigating each other’s pasts, Dion and Neil are visited by a mysterious figure called “The Giver” who drops an apple into one barrel and a cup into the other barrel. The two then begin to argue about what “The Giver” looks like and whether the other one is lying. Gene, after being constantly left out and driven mad by their constant admiration for “The Giver,” decides to break out of his barrel to try and find “The Giver.” After breaking out, he becomes aware that he is in a play and decides to try and break Dion and Neil out of their barrels. Upon doing so however, it becomes clear that no one is inside the barrels. In a state of delirium and in an attempt to rebuild what he once had, Gene rebuilds the barrels and climbs back inside his original barrel. At this point, the play starts again and a massive banner advertising a local supermarket falls from the back of the stage, it then becomes clear to the audience that these three characters have been stuck within bins this whole time.
