Casting a staged reading of an original comedy by Amanda Murphy. As it is a staged reading, there will be limited blocking or use of props, set or costumes.
Synopsis: A farcical comedy, "Family Business" is set in the 1940s. Jackie Rhymes really wants her first meeting with her future in-laws to go well, but… things can be complicated when one is a cat burglar marrying a police officer. The situation becomes even more difficult when her estranged hit-man father shows up to ask for a favor.
