Casting Roles For Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show at Disneyland Paris, France

Roles

Cowboys

experienced horse rider. Excellent physical condition. Rodeo or ranching skills. Roping skills/trick roping helpful. Ability to work in a diverse team environment. Knowledge of Old West ideology. All the Cowboys must be accomplished equestrians with working ranch skills or rodeo riders. However, their acting skills are as important as their riding. They have a variety of roles to play in the "Cattle Trail," from that of the authentic Old Western cowboy to working with Disney’s timeless characters, "The Rodeo Games" as ranch competitors, "The Deadwood Stage" as members of the U.S. Fifth Cavalry. They have to ride in the "Final Review" in a precise choreography with all cast involved. They should be able to handle animals such as Longhorn Cattle, as well as prepare their own horses for the show. An ability to lasso is essential for them. Following the audition, job offers will be made from France, under French Law. If you are 18 years of age and meet the criteria above, let your application prior to Oct. 31 by clicking on "Apply." Include a current resume, headshot and full-length photo. Selected candidates will be invited to an audition which will take place in Florida, U.S. Any incomplete application will not be taken into account.

Annie Oakley

height between 5’ and 5’4”. Acting experience. Vocal training/fluent/American accent preferred. Experienced horse rider with excellent skills. Circus background helpful. Ability to work in a diverse team environment. A strong artistic presence with lots of energy. The actress playing Annie Oakley should bear some relation to the physical stature and character of the historical character (i.e. small, highly skilled equestrian) as well as being proficient in handling firearms. She is one of the most important characters in the show and will be required to share narration, act as Mistress of Ceremonies in the Rodeo Games, as well as taking the lead in her own routine, “The Shooting Contest.” She should have a frontier spirit with directness and humor, as well as a modest charm rather than “showbiz pizazz” that exudes energy and enthusiasm in Wild West fashion as a true pioneer woman. Annie Oakley is the only female role in the spectacle. Following the audition, job offers will be made from France, under French Law. If you are 18 years of age and meet the criteria above, let your application prior to Oct. 31 by clicking on "Apply." Include a current resume, headshot and full-length photo.
