Oscar is a scrawny twenty-something with a haunted past, recovering from a drug addiction. He is incapable of forming meaningful connections with others due to his volatile and abusive relationship with his late mother, but hopes to find solace in Amara. While struggling with this baggage, Oscar is haunted by The Spirit, who terrorizes him at every turn. It sometimes feels to him like he may never escape.
