Job Description
Casting "Eephus," a pair of New England recreational baseball teams as they face off for the last time on their local field before it becomes demolished for the construction of an elementary school. It’s a movie about the end of an era fading into a future of uncertainty. The movie is a play by play of this game, peering into intimate moments with all of its players, referees, and spectators. It’s a sweet and sentimental film about beloved pastimes coming to an end and the people that we share those pastimes with. Though there's a somber undertone, this film is also very comedic and lighthearted.
Seeking multiple roles for male characters. Baseball experience preferred.
Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations
Production will take place for 3-4 weeks in October in Douglas, MA. There will also be some rehearsals in August/September.
