Covey Lyncook:
Character is 17-20s, multiracial (Jamaican/Chinese) but at first glance, she appears to be the splitting image of her Jamaican mother. Covey is a fierce young woman in Jamaica in the late 1960s, who questions authority and pushes boundaries whenever the opportunity arises. Her outspoken nature threatens the very independence she cherishes when her overprotective father begins to meddle in her love life. SERIES REGULAR.
Little Man:
Character is in late 30s, Jamaican, a loan shark, willing to “bleed a man dry to settle a debt,” and a vicious, deadly, malicious sexual predator who offers to marry a man’s teenage daughter to settle a debt.
Gibbs Grant:
Character is 18-20’s, Jamaican chivalrous, he is a charmer and skilled longboard surfer who woos and wins the heart of young Covey. Headed to London to study law, he is a fine, decent young man with goals and he is heart-broken when Covey chooses to marry someone else. GUEST STAR.
