the ghost of subhiksha is the story of an eccentric reclusive genius who is forced by family tragedy to take care of his nephew over a summer.

character breakdown:

“uncle” ajeet maji – east-indian, mid-to-late 60’s, a recluse, a genius with the wit of a bear trap. add equal parts of doc from back to the future, the dalai lama, and elon musk then shake vigorously.

advik “addy” kapoor – indian, late teens to early 20’s, a native angeleno, a good son, an incredible nephew, and ajeet’s best and only friend. addy is a street-smart kid who’s just discovering his own voice and his place in the world.
