ITV's Reelz USA Breaking the Band: The Police
"Breaking the Band" will follow their journey of how the brotherly relationship formed by these three musicians suffered under increasing pressure as they rocketed to superstardom and asks the question, why did they throw it all away when they ruled the world?
Combining high-end stylised drama reconstruction, extensive archive and revealing interviews, we'll chart the turbulent history of a band who battled with egos, musical differences, and the kind of stratospheric fame that would test the most solid of friendship... We'll uncover the reality of life in the Police that the cameras missed.
Seeking three actors who resemble the members of The Police (musical skills a bonus) and one male actor who resembles Miles Copeland. Ideally don't want to wig people for this one but are open to submissions. Only apply if you are based in the UK.
3 lead roles pay £400 per day. 1 supporting role pays £250 per day.
