Job Description

Casting "Machisma,' a short film in finishing stage, made with the support of the Sundance Institute, calling for home video-style clips that center on the celebration of young kids (apx. ages 2-12) that find joy in traditionally gendered activities. Diverse and BIPOC perspectives highly encouraged.

Production states: "Creativity is encouraged, as is submitting clips that were caught naturally, without prompting. We are looking for clips that center on joy that would historically be looked down on societally. Raw, funny, awkward, celebratory, queer? We would love to consider it all. While this can include trans and non-gendered children, children of all gender identities are encouraged to submit videos. These videos will be in consideration to be non-exclusively licensed for use in the film for a fee of $200. Owners of the selected clips will have access to the rough edit to see how the clip will be used (15-30sec) before signing license agreement."

All videos will be sourced, no additional commitment is required.

Pays: $200.00 (Flat Rate)

Total: $200.00 for an estimated 1 hour of work

Additional: These videos will be in consideration to be non-exclusively licensed for use in the film for a fee of $200. Owners of the selected clips will have access to the rough edit to see how the clip will be used (15-30sec) before signing license agreement.
