Musician and music teacher recovering from a serious brain injury that has interrupted his life. Subtle humor, vulnerability, charm, and moral ambiguity rather than overt desperation.

Psychic. Quiet and watchful, almost reptilian in his stillness. Curious, mocking in his own understated way, capable of cruelty, flashes of anger, and sudden ice-cold detachment. There is something almost alien about his intelligence, but also something weary and worldly - like an old bookie who has seen the same human weaknesses too many times. Should never feel like a stereotypical mystical or theatrical psychic.
