August-September 2021 + Dates TBD 2022 (please note we are looking to shoot 3-4 different seasons and so the shoot will be broken up into multiple shooting dates from Fall 2021 – 2022)
Synopsis:
Based on the memoir and true events. Straw Man is the compelling, Canadian story of Jacob’s battle with anorexia. This journey follows Jake during a time of his own perceptions of isolation and social exclusion where he clings to Anorexia nervosa until it becomes like a fanatical religious conviction for him.

Male, Caucasian, 5′ 9″, medium-length brown hair, no facial hair (or willing to shave), little-no chest hair (or willing to shave), average build (non-athletic body type)
There is a shower scene, nudity will be cheated, but will require the actor to be in nude underwear.

Male, Any ethnicity, SOC (silent on camera), must be over 6′ tall, very slim build
Should be comfortable with creative movement as this role requires the actor to personify an omnipresent evil spirit’s physical presence
