Job Description

Needed: Stage/Theater performers with access to ZOOM video & audio and availability on March 28th for up to 4 hours.
Recruiting stage actors for a reading of a new musical in development. “Love More,” written by Sandi Trombino and music by Julius Trombino is a story that follows a bright, sensitive, and creative teenage boy subjected to bulling, loss of loved ones, depression, and a path to leading to addiction. If interested in participating in this first draft reading/discussion workshop, please reply via email with your name, age range, and top three-character choices. All characters except Tyler will have extra speaking parts. Demo’s will be played for musical numbers. Potential future paid casting opportunities may be available.
CHARACTERS:
Tyler- (male: age range 18-25) Intelligent, loving, musical, a risk-taker. A high schooler.
Katie- (female: age range 18-25) Tyler’s girlfriend, cheerful, intelligent. A dancer.
Dad- (male: age range 35+) Tyler’s father. Engaging, well meaning, and approachable.
Mom- (female: age range 35+) Tyler’s mother. Distracted, anxious, and gullible.
Sister- (female: age range 18-25) Tyler’s older sister.
Devil- (ambiguous: age range 18-30) negative, rebellious, self-centered version of Tyler.
Angel- (ambiguous: age range 18-30) the rule abiding conscientious version of Tyler.
Kevin- (male: age range 18-25) Music Student. Philosophical friend of Tyler.
Ryan- (male: age range 18-25) Friend of Tyler
Quarterback- (male: age range 18-25) High school athlete, bully.
Aunt Cara- (female: age range 35+ ) Tyler’s aunt. Has terminal illness.
