ice cube and kevin hart are teaming up one more time for the sequel to ride along called ride along 2. the film has been shooting in the atlanta and miami area this summer. next week the film needs some latin extras in the miami area. ride along 2 will be filming in miami through out july/august. the universal pictures production will be directed by tim story and phil hay and matt manfredi serve as the projects writers.

ride along 2 brings back security guard ben played by kevin hart and his now fiancees apd detective james played by ice cube. ben (kevin james) would want nothing more than to prove to his future brother-in-law that he is quite worthy of marring his sister, angela played by tika sumpter. ben finally gets into the academy and wants to impress james as well as get his blessing for their marriage. james invites ben on another ride along meant to scare him, but of course things do not go as planned and the 2 run into the cities most notorious criminal along the way and ben's mouth proves to be quite dangerous.
