Monica is a seemingly sweet, friendly young woman who becomes dangerously obsessed with the player after renting a mysterious movie called Love Potion. What begins as innocent flirting quickly escalates into possessiveness, jealousy, and increasingly disturbing behavior. The key for this role is the contrast between sweet and terrifying. We want an actor who can make Monica sound genuinely likable at first, then increasingly disturbing without immediately resorting to a stereotypical horror-villain voice.
