Shedding is a coming of age short documentary by writer and director Tziara Reyes-Herrera about a woman’s vulnerable journey to shaving her head for the first time; exploring the relationships between women, their hair and society’s expectations towards the two.
Looking for vivacious personalities between the ages of 18-30 in the greater Toronto area to be the main subject and have their transformation documented. This is a paid opportunity. Applicants must be comfortable with cutting their hair on camera and openly discussing the experiences that lead them there.
