Job Description
Casting "Starlight," a music video for the pop/indie recording artist Madstone. Production states: "Seeking an extremely diverse cast. Roles include featured and background. Must be comfortable being on camera with drag-presenting performers. All child roles must be accompanied by an adult. Madstone Rowan (they/them), lead singer and songwriter for Tripping Jupiter, is a vocalist and keyboard player from New York City who embraces gender 'beyond the binary.' Tripping Jupiter's video for their debut single 'The Rhythm Falls' has received multiple nominations and awards from film festivals such as The NY international film festival, the international music video awards, the London movie awards, and Cannes world film festival. Tripping Jupiter's music draws heavily on the music of legacy artists such as David Bowie as well as pushing the boundaries of modern pop and rock music. Their credo is to create music that connects and empowers. The song 'We Are Starlight' features the bass playing of Gail Ann Dorsey, who played for David Bowie and Lenny Kravitz, as well as platinum album producer Barb Morrison (credits: Blondie, Franz Ferdinand, Rhianna)."
Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations
Shoots April 13-15 in/around Brooklyn, Dumbo, and Prospect Park, NYC.
