Job Description
Seeking singers, Santas and Mrs. Claus for The Holiday Carolers for the 2022 holiday season. Singers: Looking for talent for our Los Angeles team, Orange County Team, Inland Empire and San Diego teams. All our repertoire is memorized to provide the highest level of entertainment for our clients. Must be comfortable with a light script and banter. Must be able to learn majority of music on your own. Music and rehearsal tracks will be provided. Classically trained and/or chorus background a plus. A few conflicts are okay. Only profiles with singing reels will be considered. Must have reliable transportation. We are a super fun group of dedicated, driven singers. Divas need not apply. Santa/Mrs. Claus: Looking for someone with any/all of the following attributes: vaccinated, 45 years old +, reliable transportation, acting background, improv background, working with kids, flexible (willing to be a “sitting” Santa or an entertaining (acting) Santa, and real beard a plus but not required. Will consider already established Santas if looking for additional work through the season. Experience not required- we will train you for the right person.
Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations
Carolers: 6-8 unpaid rehearsals in Oct/Nov in Los Angeles and San Diego, CA; Santa/Mrs. Claus: 2-3 unpaid rehearsals in Oct/Nov Los Angeles and San Diego, CA; gigs generally start the week of Thanksgiving through the end of December.
Compensation & Contract Details
All Roles
Additional: Caroler: $80-90/1st hour, $40/each additional hour plus mileage after 15 miles of City Hall + tips. Santa and Mrs. Clause: $100/1st hour, $50 each additional hour plus mileage after 15 miles of City Hall plus tips.
