Production company is looking to fill two short film roles for a project focusing on murder and deception between two Australian mates. No acting experience necessary. These are paid roles.

The film follows two mates, Harrison and Leo, one of whom has been pitted an assignment from his University professor. Harrison is studying criminology and psychology and his assignment is to plan the 'perfect murder'. It's an exercise in hypothetical criminal theory and it sparks a debate/conversation between Harrison and his mate Leo. The film features a bloody ending, as Harrison puts one of his theories into cation by killing Leo, in a scene eerily reminiscent of the famous shower scene from Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960). But has Harrison done this before?

HARRISON (18-25yo): Harrison is meticulous and an intellectual. He enjoys pushing peoples buttons and being in control. He is a wolf in sheep's clothing. He looks after his body and keeps his apartment obsessively clean. He enjoys and follows the writings of Nietzsche. There is nudity in a shower scene and you must be comfortable with this. The role only requires one half-day of filming and pays $250 for the role.

LEO (18-25yo): Leo is your average Aussie guy. He loves his footy and and his mates. He is more easily led than Harrison, although not entirely dumb Leo is more 'simple' than Harrison. He has not lived a life of entitlement. He is a hard-worker. There is nudity in a shower scene and you must be comfortable with this. The role only requires one half-day of filming and pays $250 for the role.

- Acting experience is not required for either role.

- Open to male actors between ages 18-30ish.

- Need to be comfortable with a violent/bloody murder scene.

- Must be confidant with nudity in a shower scene/s.

- Required only for a half-day of filming in Melbourne.

- Film to be submitted to film festivals in Australia and around the world.

- Some rehearsal time will be required prior to filming.

- Pay is $250 for each role.

Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, auditions will be held only for shortlisted candidates. Filming will take place in Melbourne as soon as the two lead roles have been cast. We aim to have the film shot by August.
