Job Description
I am a Casting Assistant for an untitled crime series, shooting in the Tampa, FL area. The series is a (faith-based) detective drama to fight child abuse and human trafficking, produced by Gabriel’s Messenger Films. Must be willing to work as Local Hire.

Chuck Coleman: 35 years old, African-American, nice-looking. Has hard features, but kind eyes. Works as a detective in the police department’s Human Trafficking Division and great friend to Amber. He has family money, so he doesn’t need to work. He sees every child as someone who could be his own, hence his work in law enforcement. An amazing father to his daughter Clarice. Service in the military made him the good man he is today. Unfortunately, Chuck struggles to balance his personal life with his mission, between spending what time he can with his daughter or mentoring at-risk youth. He still struggles with his faith sometimes, due to his personal tragedies and the nature of his work. (Lead)
Clarice Coleman: 12 years old, African American, Chuck’s daughter with full curly hair, she rides horses with such confidence and joy that would make a father proud, friendly with Amber with hopes of teaching her how to ride a horse. (Recurring)
Derek: 15 years old. African American. Works at the stables. Clarice has a crush on him. (Recurring)
Dr. Deanna: 40’s, African American, naturally pretty and has two children who waste time on Instagram. A Veterinarian who takes care of horses at the ranch and is described as the ‘best vet in the city.’ Drives both a blue Cutlass for bringing dogs along and a Lexus for without dogs. (1 day shoot)
Mr. Dunley- Has a strong desire to protect his 16-year old daughter and to watch her grow into a virtuous woman because he loves her fiercely. If he could, he’d rain down fire on any man who disrespects her in any way. (1 day shoot)
Miranda- Hispanic teen working on a farm for troubled, inner-city youth. Isn’t afraid to speak her mind. (needing someone 18+ who can play 15 or 16. 1 day shoot.)
