Seven months ago, Several movie productions had to be shut down due to the pandemic and subsequent lockdown. Fantastic Beasts 3 had just begun production when it had to be stopped, and the crew told to go home. With 2020 gradually coming to an end, production has resumed for the Wizarding World franchise's next instalment. Lead actor Eddie Redmayne has realized how different filming was before and after the lockdown. Naturally, movie producers had to take safety precautions to ensure the well-being of their cast and crew.
Speaking on how it felt on set before and after COVID-19, Eddie Redmayne said, "Well, we had done a day of shooting before COVID-19 hit the U.K. proper. So we started on Friday and then on a Sunday night we were all told to go home. And then just a few weeks ago we started again, and it's a different world. But we're so lucky to be back at work, and it's interesting, it's like – film crews are amazing people, and they're very adaptable people. So, we have a lot of testing, you know, we're in bubbles, and we're all masked, but it's been kind of… great. So, it's nice to be back at work, and I feel very lucky."
