Margot Robbie, Who Plays Harley Quinn In The Suicide Squad, Talks About The Physical Toll Of Filming.

The DC Extended Universe has grown in popularity over the last few years, and several characters have already made multiple appearances on the big screen. The Suicide Squad's Harley Quinn, played by Margot Robbie, will make her third appearance in James Gunn's film. Robbie spoke on the physical toll that filming as Harley takes on her before the film's release.

Margot Robbie's run as Harley Quinn is unique in that each appearance was directed by a different director. As a result, she's taken the character on a range of adventures, however The Suicide Squad appears to be particularly large-scale. Robbie highlighted how James Gunn's DC debut took a toll on her, saying that the intense action of James Gunn's DC debut took a toll on her. She said, “There are explosions and guns firing. And even though they’re blanks, your body starts reacting as if it’s real, your adrenaline’s through the roof.”

While the filming may have been difficult at times, it appears like the wait will be well worth it when The Suicide Squad hits cinemas and homes. Fans are eager to see James Gunn, the director of Guardians of the Galaxy, bring his views to the DCEU. With the film's R-rating and great cast, there's no telling what surprises await us.
