Sam Raimi's Spiderman trilogy is one of those movies that will never be forgotten. The movie is adored by kids and adults alike as so many young kids were immediately inspired by the masked hero and wanted to become their own neighborhood protector even if it's just in their imagination. However, this movie has also generated a lot of criticism from beloved fans especially the drastic change in Spiderman 3. Not everyone liked his emo phase and just wished that something else could have been used as a substitute to that unfortunate plot twist.
Another significant cause of strife among fans is the organic web-shooters. The Marvel comic hero was altered so he could have the power to shoot webs from his wrists as opposed to using mechanical web-shooters. The originator of this idea is no other than James Cameron. Talking about the organic web-shooters, the screenwriter said, " [James Cameron] had some very good ideas in it. I like the organic web-shooters, which some people liked and some people didn't, but that was his idea and I was happy to use it."
