The Way Disneyland Will Celebrate A Star Wars Holiday At Galaxy's Edge

The Way Disneyland Will Celebrate A Star Wars Holiday At Galaxy's Edge

The holiday season is about to begin at Disneyland Resort, and while most people associate the holidays with Christmas or Chanukah, the Star Wars galaxy has its own winter holiday to commemorate, which means that Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will be joining in the fun with its own event centered on the great Star Wars holiday Life Day.

Life Day originally appeared in Star Wars mythology as part of the well-known (or notorious) Star Wars Holiday Special. Life Day has appeared in different Star Wars stories since then, despite the fact that the holiday special is one of those things Lucasfilm hopes you had forgotten about.

This year, though, Life Day will continue at Disneyland. While the rest of the theme park decks the halls with holiday decorations and serves seasonal fare, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will have its own special menu to mark the occasion.

Docking Bay 7, Batuu's main dining establishment, has added Pork Broth Noodles to its menu, which should keep you toasty if the weather turns cold in Southern California. Kat Saka's Kettle, which is known for its distinctive popcorn, will introduce a couple of new dishes, including a Tikka Masala-spiced hand pie and a black sesame macaron with passion fruit frosting that sounds incredible.
