My full name is Alliyah Denei Sifa Samuel. If you're struggling with the pronunciation it is said like "A-leeyah Denay Sheefa Samuel". I am half Antiguan and half Turkish and currently live in London but had to move to Leicester for University. All my life I have wanted to become an actress, my love for drama began from as early as I can remember. When i was 9 I began taking dancing lessons because my mother couldn't afford to take me before but if there was ever a production at my school I would always audition and be granted with a main role. I was Maid Marian in the production of Robin Hood, the female lead and also played Motormouth Maybelle in the production of Hairspray where I was required to sing, dance and act. With my family having a music background, I have also loved to sing from an early age and have grown confident from singing off of Youtube, at church events and in both productions that I was in. I don't have a lot of professional acting experience as you can see, but I have done some modelling both catwalk and photoshoot, and was recently in a music video. Although it was unpaid I did it for the love of performing and being on screen.At university I am currently studying Drama and performing, and have received high marks for my assessments. I really believe in myself and know that some day I will be where I want to be in my acting career. I want to do nothing else but perform, and I know if given the chance, I could prove my talent to everyone.
