Biography
Auri Lahne' Brown was born in Atlanta, Georgia. When she was very young. she began acting in school plays and many teachers and parents noticed her talent which her parents had already seen. She was often called on to host the school plays and musical performances. One summer she attended the AMTC showcase in Orlando, Florida and was discovered by an LA agent attending. She became an Overall Finalist. Subsequently, with constant pleading to her parents to take her to LA, she moved there with her mother when she was 14 yrs. old. Auri is of African, Pacific Islander, and American Indian descent.
By the age of 5, Auri knew acting was her calling and that's what she wanted to do. She would often memories the Disney shows she watched and perform a scene flawlessly with so much passion. Her mom realized it was time to use this talent and enrolled her in plays, improv classes, and kid talent showcases in their local town. She went on to win 1st place (2011) in the Kids Comedy Korner Competition and 1st Place in Monologue City -Best Kid Monologue (2014). In addition to her acting talent, Auri is also a model student who loves to impress her teachers. She won the highly prestigious Kerr Cup for Best Student (2014) (Conyers) and was always asked to participate in the Oratorical Contests for the school.
When it comes to auditioning Auri developed a coping mechanism when she doesn’t get the role. Her saying is, "On to the next!" then listen to her favorite playlist. She has appeared in several short films and theater productions in LA.
