My Name is Craig Skimins.
I was born 18/05/1990 in Glasgow, Scotland
I have recently decided that I want to get into the TV and film industry and start of by being an extra. I watch at least 3-4 movies per week if I can either at home or at the cinema. I thought I would tell you a little bit about myself.
For the past 3 summers I have worked at summer camps across America in Arizona and Pennsylvania. I was a camp counselor looking after children and leading different activities. The type of activities I was teaching the kids ranged from football, quad biking, basketball, archery, dodgeball to name just a few. Over the past 3 summers I have had to do skits with my fellow counselors and campers, I wrote and performed in 2 different skits based on the movie Braveheart which helped me overcome my stage nerves and I have enjoyed doing ever since, I have got to meet many peoples from all over the world thanks to being a camp counselor who have now become friends for life. Working there has also built up my confidence as a person.
I have had a varied job history, I have worked as a cleaner in an aircraft hanger cleaning aircraft parts, worked for amazon.co.uk on a few occasions, worked as a returns assistant for a retail company so I believe I can adapt to different working environments.
I love to Travel. I have been to many countries from Turkey, Spain, Holland, Ireland, France, and of course America to name a few, It is something I am passionate about and by becoming an extra that can help with my travels as well.
My main strengths are being a reliable, conscientious person with an outgoing personality who is happy to work as part of a team and on my own initiative. I endeavour to learn something new from every experience as I believe there is always room for self improvement. I work to the best of my ability at all times, have good communication skills and I am not afraid to put forward ideas I see fine.
Interests
I enjoy playing and watching Football. I also enjoy listening to Music, Fishing, Socialising, Keeping fit, Running and Relaxing. I like to go Travelling, I would like the chance to see the world more it’s something that really interests me.
