Biography

A self-taught actor whose passion and drive for industry experience has seen Can play a variety of roles to date. Diren a 2015 Drama/Action film produced by Biba Film, shown in selected Odeon cinemas, has been his biggest accomplishment to date – This is not due to geographical reach or accreditation. It is due to the fact that Can was part of the birth of this independent film from start to finish. A project that he was thoroughly involved with, in various aspects and that also seen him take on his first leading role. A leading role that immersed him into a range of emotions, settings and eventually a dramatic and tear-jerking demise – A personal challenge for himself, to meet the required expectations of the role and portray events and emotions in a just and true manner.

As a self-taught actor, Can believes that it is essential that the passion, dedication and motivation he holds for the industry shines through; coming into the industry later than some has left him without qualified training. Can personally sees this as an advantage, he is able to still mould himself, taking on and visually displaying the expectations of those he works for. Rather than portraying habit-forming characteristics that have been learnt through someone else’s interpretation of acting. Can has been proven to be a quick learner, with a strong and expressive voice and a good interpretation of tones, expressions and accents needed. An individual that is extremely passionate about acting, holding both an imagination, flare and clear dedication to the industry. An individual that is willing to work hard and undertake any role-related training or workshops.

Can’s experience to date has not been limited to one particular genre or role. He was fortunate enough to work alongside big figures such as Stephen Graham in both studio and independent film company settings – An experience that lead to the following being quoted regarding his character/skills: “He is energetic, prepared to 'go the extra mile' and is sure to make a real difference to any project he is involved in”.
