FRIDAH MUMBE is an award winning Kenyan actress, model and stunt performer. She began her acting career back in primary school where she took part in a school plays. She went ahead and joined the drama club in high school where she got the main role in a play in form one and in form three got the best actress award. She has since then been a part of several film projects including The Traphouse Tv show which aired on
NTV where she played Emily for some episodes, this among other short films namely Blank out, Zari, Sarah's ghost. Recently, she starred in the showmax TV Show, Pepeta as Gracie and Sherrie in the award winning Tv Show, Njoro wa Uba. She recently made her Netflix debut on the show Volume. To nurture her craft she has attended the career crafting acting workshop by Charles J Ouda, Broadway Arts Community workshop by founder, Chryssie Whitehead and the acting masterclass by renowned Actor, Nini Wacera.
Besides being a passionate actor, she is a stunt performer, taught by Lwanda Jawar as well as own personal trainer, she is also skilled at gun handling. She can do beginner make up. She is 5'2 ft tall and can walk in heels. She can cycle and drive. She is fluent in both swahili and english and a bit of french. Sport wise she can swim and run fast. She can work well with kids and animals. She is a fast learner and versatile on demand with the ability to be original and convincing because of her expressive face and eyes.
