Helena Orts was born and raised in Barcelona, Spain. At an early age she performed in "The Jungle Book" and "A Mid-Summer's Night Dream." At the age of 8 she started playing basketball art her school team Safa Claror. From there she was signed with Barcelona's most prestigious women's basketball team Femeni Sant Adria in which she played three seasons. During that time, playing as a power forward, Helena and her team obtained two gold medals and a silver medal at the Catalan Championship. Also, a gold, a silver and a bronze medal at the Spain Championship. In 2012 and 2014 she was named most valuable female player of the Catalan Federation of Basketball.
On top of that the Spain National Team selected her to compete at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games in China, obtaining a bronze medal. Also competing in five European Championship U16, U18 and U20, obtaining 4 Gold medals and a Bronze medal among other international competitions.
Helena was awarded an athletic scholarship to study at Fairfield University in Connecticut for two years with a double major in Theatre and French while playing Division I College Basketball. In 2016, Helena transferred to Academy Of Art University in San Francisco which she obtained her BFA in Acting and played Division II basketball.
As a trilingual actress, upon moving to Los Angeles she was cast in short films such as "Driver's Tale", "Buscando a Julieta" and "Olden Times." She was the lead talent for international campaigns with brands such as Nike, Powerade, Oculus, FitOn and Ally Bank within others.
Helena also performed at The Brisk Theatre Festival 1st Edition (Summer 2019) in "I-Judge" and "Fandango" and the Second Edition (Spring 2022) with a play that she wrote and starred "23 Turnips". Her play was chosen as one of the favorites by the audience and judges. Helena became a part of an improvisation group in both San Francisco and Los Angeles. As a voiceover actress, her work is featured in dubbing for the film Midway into Spanish.
