Biography

Born 21.02.1988. in Croatia, I got interested in creative arts since a young age but being from a small self-working business family, all of extra time was dedicated towards working and earning money to support the family. There was no art school or extra activities in the area to take upon any lessons and craft around the talent. The art and music entertainment wasn't really well acknowledged at the time in our country, especially our town so any kind of dreaming of making it big was immediately shut down by critiques and disapproval. I had a small role in a schools play in elementary, but so did the whole class. It didn't stop me from making home made movies and music videos, or sing and dance and write and direct other people who enjoyed all those things as much as I did. Eventually people evolved and kind of accepted there is nothing wrong in expressing yourself through movement or voice, but by that time I was considered too old to join any classes as they would only accept kids who were interested in developing a skill in a certain area. I found another way to keep up and got private lessons from musicians, vocal coaches and joined the towns local traditional dance group to be part of something in a small way, after which I've founded my own dance club and managed kids and teenagers that led to performances around the country and half-time participance in the local sports championships. I've performed in front of crowds alone and in groups, just to gain experience of singing in front of people and went on to create my YouTube channel to help free my voice and get feedback from strangers since the people around me didn't care enough to comment. If there was a chance to try something out and perform, I was there and willing to learn because nothing makes me more happy and fullfilled than when I get to create something. I would love to be part of something magnificent, to create and enjoy and thrive in the success of the project because it is my passion and no matter what anyone ever told me, I never gave up. Each of us know deep down what we're capable of and what makes us truly happy. I unfortunately don't have any material to share, back then not many people had cameras or the internet. Now it's kind of hard, impossible to find someone willing to run lines with me or join me on a improv scene cause it's all too funny and stupid for them. I feel like I'm stuck in this country where art isn't appreciated. I'm sorry, this may not be the biography I should have put together, but it's biographical cause it's my life. Thank you for reading. :)
