Ashley Cokinis began studying dance at the age of 5 in Des Moines, IA at her studio. She trained in all styles of dance including ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and tap. She then moved to Los Angeles to attend AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts, and graduated from the conservatory program with a Dance Theatre Certificate in June of 2018.
